As a Maintenance Specialist, you will perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. This includes dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to various technical documents, using test and diagnostic equipment, and rebuilding manufacturing equipment. You will also implement equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers and may utilize predictive maintenance technologies to enhance operational efficiencies. This role requires specialized knowledge, training, and certification in a particular area, system, or equipment, with the ability to adapt procedures and techniques to meet complex requirements. Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks, with most issues resolved independently and complex issues escalated. You will apply basic skills and develop advanced skills as appropriate, working under direct supervision and following standard procedures. A key responsibility is maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 4 years related operations or manufacturing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Basic computer skills

  • Associates degree or equivalent military training
  • Documented experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting to determine problems and conduct corrective maintenance.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to detailed procedures and schedules.
  • Provide emergency call-in support for operations running during off-hours.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities.
  • Provide technical set-up support for manufacturing areas.
  • Perform equipment modifications, including installation, validation support, and start-up of new equipment, as well as decommissioning activities.
