About The Position
We are one of the largest mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors in Indiana and among the preeminent specialty contractors in the nation. We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects. Havel is looking for a Salesperson responsible for HVAC and automation systems maintenance sales contracts with commercial, industrial, educational and institutional clients in the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan area.
Requirements
- Experience in sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of financial based sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledgeable in use of common computer and Microsoft programs/software.
- Excellent at Managing processes, Decision making, Process improvement, and Customer service.
- Regular and reliable attendance
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, Mechanical, and controls systems knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers, traveling regionally.
- Expand sales for existing contract customers
- Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new customers
- Converts leads into opportunities by identifying the appropriate sales course of action
- Develops multiple relationships with buying influences within the customer’s organization which may include the facility manager, project managers, or purchasing agent
