Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance and repair work to support safe, functional, and well-maintained facility conditions.
• Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting throughout the facility.
• Install and fix sinks, valves, heaters, and a variety of pipe systems.
• Remodel rooms, hang drywall, repair doors, replace windows, and complete finish tasks.
• Install circuits, lighting, switches, and maintain fire and security systems.
• Mix and pour concrete, lay block and brick, and repair masonry surfaces.
• Maintain heating and cooling units, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and automated building controls.
