About The Position

This position focuses on skilled trade work that helps maintain and build important structures throughout the district. The role supports safe travel by assisting with construction, repair, and maintenance tasks. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties: Skilled Trade Work: Perform carpentry, concrete, and stonemasonry tasks on structures throughout the district Tool Use: Operate hand tools and motorized equipment safely and correctly for each assignment Construction Support: Build and repair forms, walls, partitions, and related structural features Safety Practices: Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, coworkers, and the public Team Coordination : Guide semi-skilled workers and maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
