About The Position
The seasonal Maintenance Repairman 1 supports construction and repair work by assisting skilled staff, handling materials, and performing building and finishing tasks. The position involves operating tools safely, following safety procedures, and helping maintain a secure work environment. Employment is seasonal and full-time, from October 2026 to March 2027. The scheduled hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch; hours may change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs. Telework is not available.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with measuring, cutting, placing, and finishing materials for various structures.
- Order concrete and move supplies.
- Build items such as railings, stairs, shelves, and ramps.
- Use motorized and non-motorized tools properly and report damaged or missing equipment.
- Follow safety rules, wear protective gear, and stay alert to prevent accidents.
- Make visual worksite checks, adjust materials or tools as needed, and document findings.
