Requirements

• Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Submission of criminal history reports (conditional offer of employment).

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks such as framing, painting, drywall work, and cabinetry to support building and structure needs
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned labor and help keep equipment in good condition
• Make minor repairs, perform basic maintenance, and complete field adjustments to maintain safe operation of tools and machinery
• Follow safety procedures, stay aware of hazards, and report incidents to support a safe work environment
• Assist higher level staff with planning, estimating, and constructing a variety of buildings and drainage structures
• Carry out environmental protection steps and meet training requirements for maintenance work activities
