About The Position

The Maintenance Porter is responsible for ensuring the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound. This role involves upkeep of the grounds, including the pool, trash pickup and disposal, and pet waste management. The position requires assisting the Maintenance Technician with tenant trash outs and cross-training as needed. The Maintenance Porter is expected to be an active participant in the maintenance team, attending meetings and training sessions. This is a safety-sensitive position and may involve backing up the Maintenance Technician.

Requirements

• Required to lift or handle 80-100lbs on a regular basis
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
• Responsible for upkeep of grounds including pool, trash pickup and disposal, and pet waste testing, pickup and disposal
• Empty and restock pet waste station(s)
• Document found and known issues
• Assist Maintenance Technician with tenant trash outs
• Crosstrain with Maintenance Technician as needed or required
• Be an active participant in maintenance team
• Attend monthly conference call, quarterly team meeting in person and semiannual team training in person
• Backup for Maintenance Technician
