Maintenance Porter - Brentwood Apartments
About The Position
The Maintenance Porter is responsible for ensuring the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound. This role involves the upkeep of the grounds, including the pool, trash and pet waste disposal, and documenting any found issues. The position requires the ability to lift or handle 80-100lbs regularly, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. The Maintenance Porter will also assist the Maintenance Technician with tenant trash outs and cross-train as needed. Active participation in the maintenance team's group text, monthly conference calls, quarterly in-person team meetings, and semiannual in-person training sessions are expected. This is a safety-sensitive position and may involve backing up the Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- Required to lift or handle 80-100lbs on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities
- Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
- Responsible for upkeep of grounds including pool, trash pickup and disposal, and pet waste testing, pickup and disposal
- Empty and restock pet waste station(s)
- Document found and known issues
- Assist Maintenance Technician with tenant trash outs
- Crosstrain with Maintenance Technician as needed or required
- Be an active participant in maintenance team Group Text
- Attend monthly conference call, quarterly team meeting in person and semiannual team training in person
- Backup for Maintenance Technician
