About The Position
Olen Living is seeking a motivated, full-time Porter for its Eagle Trace multifamily apartment community in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, the Porter supplements maintenance and management efforts to keep the community clean and orderly. The role includes maintaining the appearance of vacant apartments and common areas, caring for community facilities, removing trash and debris, assisting with apartment turnover, supporting residents, and helping maintenance staff when requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to six months of related experience.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- Ability to communicate positively with residents, vendors, and other employees.
- Good customer service skills and ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work at other properties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain high occupancy by attending daily to the appearance of vacant apartments and common areas.
- Participate in upkeep of community facilities.
- Remove trash and debris from property grounds.
- Remove furniture, appliances, and debris from vacated apartments and take them to a dumpster or storage.
- Promote positive resident relations through a courteous, helpful attitude and occasional assistance to residents.
- Assist maintenance staff when requested.
