About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Plant Utility Worker to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our facility clean, organized, and running efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. This position works Monday through Friday (start time will be either 6am or 7am, TBD) and overtime when necessary. Pay is DOE.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility cleanup and housekeeping
- Empty wood bins and manage material waste
- Feed materials into the chipper safely and efficiently
- Assist with general plant maintenance tasks as needed
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
