About The Position

We are seeking a Reliability Maintenance Planner for our San Jose, CA plant. This role is critical to driving equipment reliability and overall plant performance through strong planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities. You will partner closely with Maintenance, Operations, and cross‑functional teams to ensure work is planned effectively, executed safely, and aligned to plant priorities in a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of relevant maintenance or manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong planning, organization, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems (SAP/CMMS preferred; Microsoft Office required)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through others without direct authority
  • High sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to support equipment reliability and plant performance.
  • Develop high‑quality job plans that clearly define scope, labor, materials, sequencing, and timing to ensure effective execution.
  • Maintain visibility to maintenance performance through clear metrics, tracking, and follow‑up.
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and reliability gaps through data and maintenance history.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime, improve asset performance, and strengthen long‑term reliability.
  • Contribute to plant‑wide improvement efforts and reliability strategies.
  • Ensure all maintenance planning and execution aligns with safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable data in CMMS/SAP systems, including work orders, asset data, and maintenance history, to support sound decision‑making and compliance.
  • Drive execution through strong partnership with Maintenance Supervisors, technicians, storeroom teams, and vendors—without direct authority.
  • Coordinate materials, parts, and external resources to ensure work is ready and executable as planned.
  • Provide coverage for Maintenance Supervisors as needed and support frontline leadership capability.
  • Support maintenance planning inputs, purchasing coordination, and alignment to budget expectations.
  • Ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and external services while balancing cost, reliability, and plant priorities.
