About The Position

Constellation is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and prepare work packages for work to be performed by the respective maintenance departments and contractors. The goal is to ensure the plant is maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of the power generation facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years of power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR Associate's degree with 4 years of power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of power plant maintenance and/or operations experience
Maintain minimum access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Nice To Haves

5 years of planning experience in a power plant environment
Experience with Hyperion system

Responsibilities

Prepare work instructions and work packages to assist planners in providing direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance, and the implementation of modifications.
Interface with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve priorities and work package issues utilizing excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for performing planned work packages.
Conduct field walk-downs to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance and modification activities.
Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures.
Review all required work packages and submit for approval before executing.
Manage multiple projects, establish work priorities, and achieve results.
Assist in planned and forced outage coordination as required.
Perform other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management, including supporting outage activities for positions outside of the department.
