About The Position

The prime objective of the Maintenance Planner is to improve the efficiency and productivity of maintenance own personnel and third party maintenance services through a good planning, follow up and optimization of all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. In addition to achieve the set targets for equipment availability / reliability at the lowest optimum and sustainable maintenance cost, in collaboration with all involved departments or sub-departments, following the maintenance guidelines (CIF and MAC) defined by the company.

Requirements

  • College degree (DEC) in industrial maintenance.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a heavy industry.
  • SAP, Microsoft and SAP suites.
  • Strong communicator (both oral & written).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with plant personnel.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision and well organized.
  • Extensive experience in heavy industrial equipment repair; experience in inspection and welding an asset.
  • Excels in planning major work and plant shutdowns using computer software.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance System (SAP) and knowledge of problem-solving techniques
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

  • Plan all work orders by assigning the required parts, tools, procedures, drawings, and resources to the work.
  • Plan the weekly, monthly, yearly and long-term maintenance plans.
  • Contribute to the reliability of the equipment by daily review of maintenance request and collaborating with production and inspectors to assess priority and criticality.
  • Write a detailed scope of work for all major work and identify skills required.
  • Generate and follow up purchase requests for materials, spare and wear parts, ensuring just in time delivery.
  • Ensure the equipment parts catalog (both in SAP and equipment folders) reflects all plant equipment changes.
  • Track all statistics related to the Maintenance Department Activities (KPI) such as repeat work, PM compliance, MTBF, and net availability.
  • Estimates, tracks and controls the cost of maintenance work orders to remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Acts as the main point of contact between the maintenance team and operations group.
