Position Summary The Maintenance PM Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability, asset performance, and operational efficiency. This position works closely with maintenance technicians, operations personnel, vendors, and management to develop and maintain effective maintenance schedules while minimizing downtime and optimizing labor and material resources. The PM Scheduler utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, maintenance plans, equipment histories, and resource allocation. The role is critical in driving maintenance excellence, regulatory compliance, safety performance, and asset reliability. The primary objective of the Maintenance PM Scheduler is to ensure maintenance work is proactively planned, properly resourced, efficiently scheduled, and successfully executed to maximize equipment reliability, support operational goals, reduce downtime, improve safety, and optimize maintenance costs.
