About The Position

The Weyerhaeuser Kalispell Plywood Plant is searching for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will plan, develop, manage, and provide effective leadership for the maintenance team through effective and thorough planning of maintenance activities and special projects, to include electrical projects. This position is an hourly full-time position and part of the Weyerhaeuser Wood Products Business reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge in the areas of basic electrical/mechanical processes and troubleshooting.
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
Demonstrated ability/desire to drive and create structure where none exists.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all associates.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, other windows-based programs and internet skills.
Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo, SAP, or other CMMS applications.
Must be willing to work holidays as needed, be “on-call” and provide other support as assigned.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at heights should conditions warrant.

Nice To Haves

Technical Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience in wood products manufacturing.
Experience in planning and creating work packages for skilled trades, including electrical craftsmen.

Responsibilities

Effectively and efficiently plan future work for the maintenance team to execute, including electrical projects.
Identify safety issues and take measures to proactively address concerns.
Be actively involved in supporting and growing our safety culture and team.
Actively oversee, develop, and participate in preventative maintenance activities and ensure effective communication across & between shifts and with the production teams.
Lead Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization effort with other planner(s).
Maintain and improve SAP database.
Ensure drawings are updated and organized, including electrical.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs) in SAP.
Assist in problem solving and developing solutions to support continuous improvement efforts in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost.
Utilize SAP and MS Office Suite programs to support and effectively plan and prioritize maintenance activities and special projects.
Ensure adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures related to planning and executing work.
Facilitate implementation of the plant workflow management process and effective utilization.
