About The Position

The Airport Field Maintenance team is looking for a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities, support asset management, and ensure efficient maintenance operations across airport properties. This role partners with maintenance and project teams to develop maintenance plans, manage CMMS data, and drive continuous process improvements. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our DEN team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Fleet Management, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of operations and maintenance experience including project management and proficiency using a computerized maintenance management system used for planning and scheduling maintenance activities in industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of the IBM Maximo maintenance system
  • Ability to read construction documents and print
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and materials used in the installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of landscaping, road construction and similar systems
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make quick sound decisions
  • FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN).
  • Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment.
  • By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
  • Valid Driver’s License may be required as a condition of employment.
  • Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of activities related to long and short-term planning, recording and analytic generation for road construction, landscaping, general property maintenance.
  • Serves as the liaison between Maintenance, DEN Development, project teams, and other departments to support project handover and maintenance integration.
  • Maintains the DEN asset registry and develops, updates, and manages CMMS data, work orders, and maintenance records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains preventive maintenance plans, job plans, and maintenance schedules for new and existing assets/projects.
  • Collaborates with planners, supervisors, and stakeholders to establish maintenance priorities, coordinate work activities, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develops labor, material, equipment, and resource estimates to support maintenance planning and minimize operational downtime.
  • Plans and forecasts inventory requirements, ensuring material availability while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Plans, schedules, and monitors maintenance work, verifies resource availability, and coordinates activities to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve maintenance processes, workflows, CMMS utilization, and operational performance through new technologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrates adaptability in implementing new processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Participates in mandatory snow removal duties.
