About The Position

The Maintenance Planner will perform proactive planning & scheduling of the PMs for production and facility equipment. This role owns the site-wide preventive maintenance (PM) program across all planning horizons (quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily). The planner develops long-term (quarterly/monthly) maintenance plans to ensure all required PMs are scheduled and aligned with equipment needs. They build detailed weekly and daily schedules aligned with production plans and operational priorities, and plan and sequence maintenance work to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. This role coordinates with Production and LCT Leads to schedule critical PMs and planned downtime, ensuring schedules are realistic, executable, and optimized based on labor, parts, and equipment availability. The planner ensures all required parts and critical spares are identified, ordered, and available prior to scheduled maintenance, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance group. They manage the due date extension process for PM tasks, review completed work orders for proper documentation, and support the task addition, change, entry, and approval process. This role also involves outage planning & procurement for maintenance activities and intake of corrective work orders and input into CMMS.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • 5 years experience in maintenance in manufacturing environment.
