About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Maintenance Planner in Greenville, OH. This role involves maintaining and updating SAP, developing detailed job plans for various maintenance activities, and coordinating with operations and procurement to ensure efficient equipment uptime and resource utilization. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP skills and experience in maintenance planning within a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment. This position is crucial for re-establishing the plant's Maintenance work process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance planning or maintenance experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with rotating and fixed equipment (pumps, compressors, reactors, piping systems, etc.)
  • Strong SAP skills.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, PSM, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP functionality to develop site maintenance work process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update SAP (computerized maintenance managed system).
  • Develop detailed job plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Review work requests and prioritize tasks based on safety, regulatory, and operational needs.
  • Create and manage maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and resource utilization.
  • Estimate labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure equipment availability for planned work.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate with procurement as needed.
  • Analyze maintenance data and recommend improvements for reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
