About The Position

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling and forecasting the maintenance functions. The Planner may also supervise maintenance employees and may cover weekend supervision for the department.

Requirements

• 3 plus years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility or equivalent military experience required.
• Scheduling, planning, or similar inventory and PM program required.
• Mechanical knowledge is required.
• Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to be proactive and self-directed.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating SAP systems preferred.
• Electrical knowledge preferred.
• Industrial food processing experience preferred.
• BS/BA degree in a related field from an accredited college/university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of maintenance plans.
• Executing the planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Analyzing maintenance repair specifications to determine tools, parts, and human resource requirements.
• Ordering parts according to lead times.
• Monitoring parts inventory levels to achieve necessary levels.
• Updating SAP systems with preventative maintenance data.
• Communicating between maintenance and production teams.
• Monitoring effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program to minimize plant breakdowns.
• Maintaining good labor relations and team morale.
• Ensuring personnel follow all GMP and safety policies.
