We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Maintenance Department through effective planning, scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance operations and equipment.
  • Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and spare parts control.
  • Experience with 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Working knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance work assignments in collaboration with the maintenance leadership team.
  • Assist in the development and management of preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of spare and replacement parts.
  • Create, update, and maintain work orders within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and CMMS platforms.
  • Optimize preventative maintenance programs through detailed analysis and scheduling improvements.
  • Review preventative and predictive maintenance findings and develop corrective action work orders.
  • Identify and document safety requirements, permits, and special procedures for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.
  • Support Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, 5S initiatives, and energy conservation programs.
