About The Position

Palermo's Pizza is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, first-shift position focused on improving maintenance execution, reducing downtime, and strengthening equipment reliability. The role is highly visible and involves working directly with technicians on the plant floor, combining planning, data, and operational insight to enhance maintenance performance. The Maintenance Planner will support maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability initiatives, and CMMS management across manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, or reliability experience within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong CMMS/EAM experience (Aptean, Maximo, TabWare, or similar systems).
  • Experience supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within food manufacturing or packaging environments.
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, thermography, or condition monitoring.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability initiatives, and CMMS management across manufacturing operations.
  • Plan maintenance work including labor, parts, timelines, and scope.
  • Improve preventive maintenance effectiveness and schedule compliance.
  • Support predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives.
  • Analyze downtime trends, PM compliance, OEE, MTBF, and MTTR data.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.
  • Serve as the primary owner of CMMS planning and data integrity.
  • Develop maintenance reports, dashboards, and planning tools.
  • Partner directly with maintenance technicians and operations teams on the shop floor.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reliability, and operational performance.
