Requirements

  • Minimum A.A. with B.S. or B.A. preferred.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing company, preferably dairy operation or related.
  • Proven background with safety programs and GMP.
  • Willingness to wok non-traditional hours as required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office Programs
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-starter.
  • Food, CPG, or USDA / FDA environments.
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Planning jobs based on material availability by complying with the production needs.
  • Administer job schedule changes due to backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages.
  • Planning long- and short-term business objectives involving maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment.
  • Provide strategic advice based on researching work requested .
  • Scoping work to be completed.
  • Working with manager to estimate safety requirements, time and materials, and technical documentation required for each planned job.
  • Make decisions concerning complex issues regarding project components and tasks using independent judgment based on plant operational needs.
  • Entering requisitions and stock issue requests for estimated materials for planned jobs.
  • Raising daily/weekly job plan for each shift including planned work and scheduled PMs.
  • Provided daily/weekly reporting on planned work completion and root causes when plan is not achieved, labor or skill shortages for planned tasks.
  • Updating BOMs in Limble or CMMS program
  • Updating equipment in Navision and Limble.
  • Providing information to maintenance admin for record entry.
  • Ensuring maintenance records, contractor’s reports and regulatory reports are stored against the correct asset.
  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
  • Comply with GMP’s in the plant.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
