About The Position

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling the production equipment PM workflow and balancing. This role supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling and ensures the maintenance function continues to improve by maintaining established metrics of performance. The position also assists with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department, and aids in planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO). The planner will also assist the maintenance manager with estimating craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work order and routinely meets with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and appropriate work packages are completed and available. Periodic audits of preventative maintenance plans will be performed, and corrections made as needed. The role adheres to and supports all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively, and identifies areas of improvement in maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, material consumption, and equipment life and serviceability. All other duties as assigned by the Leadec manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Technical Maintenance Background.
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • CMMS systems skills (Maximo required).
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of detailed work packages and job plans that include equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools and for the delivery of these parts and services when they are needed.
  • Supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling when maintenance resources are available.
  • Maintains established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improve.
  • Assist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department.
  • Assist with the planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO).
