The main purpose of the role is to coordinate, plan, and schedule all facilities, maintenance, and calibration activities. This includes coordinating with outside and third-party vendors, and managing onsite spare parts and tracking. This role will work with the facilities and maintenance supervisors, supply chain, and operations to ensure all preventive maintenance, facilities, and calibration activities are completed per schedule and without impacting the production process. The position involves supervising current maintenance tasks or maintenance projects and coordinating contractor team members to keep workflow on track. It also includes managing project-related paperwork, building kits for job tasks, performing inventory cycle counts, managing min-max levels, and tracking KPIs related to inventory management, spare parts, and parts affecting breakdowns and downtime. The role also involves auditing inventory and parts, driving 5S/Lean Methodology, communicating with stakeholders to define project requirements, and coordinating with Plant Operations and other departments for resource identification and equipment preparation. Additionally, the role coordinates outside field work, supervises API Inspections, acts as the spare parts process leader/owner, and is a power user for CMMS (eMaint or SAP). It includes spare parts outside tagging and validation, resource planning, daily management of key initiatives, working cross-functionally to resolve issues, and working with third-party vendors. The Maintenance Parts Planner will also plan and prioritize jobs with the Maintenance team, act as a contact point for planned activities, balance resource utilization, participate in planning meetings, monitor Maintenance KPIs, conduct field checks, and perform change control for documentation updates. Other duties may be assigned.
