The Maintenance Parts Assistant is responsible for managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) parts, including creating new locations, entering part details into the eMaint system, and interfacing with cataloging engineers. This role involves implementing and enforcing the parts ordering process, ordering and restocking the parts room, maintaining an organized inventory, and ensuring parts are easily locatable. The position requires regular verbal and face-to-face interaction with others and supporting all departments as needed. The employee will be expected to perform duties that may involve carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, working in hot environments, and climbing, standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting, and working in tiring positions.
