Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing facility in a technical capacity
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Electronics preferred

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor the production lines assigned, resolve, escalate and document downtime.
  • Basic line operations including HMI operations, robotics operations, electrode changes, correctly teaching weld tolerances and changeovers.
  • Document, tag and return all external repairable components to the main crib so they can be sent out for repair.
  • Document, tag and return unused items to crib.
  • Perform maintenance TPMs on all lines and cells and Level 1 maintenance PMs.
  • Maintain maintenance shop 5S.
  • Perform rebuilds on components.
  • Remove defective equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.) and replace with rebuilt/new.
  • Start line and verify change was successful.
  • Teardown failed equipment (where applicable), clean thoroughly, rebuild, set up and test repaired equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Use AIS and 4M to document the details of equipment related issues.
