Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, aiming to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine, and essential goods anytime, anywhere. They design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system. The company operates on four continents, makes a delivery every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries. Zipline's system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With over 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food globally. They are seeking practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth, motivated by building systems with a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and scaling the future of logistics. The role is part of the Maintenance and Test Operations Team supporting Zipline’s growing operations in Amarillo, Texas, in a high-tempo, seven-day-a-week test and operations environment. The technician will support keeping aircraft, test assets, support equipment, and ground systems available for continuous operations, working hands-on with Zipline’s aircraft, prototype hardware, and test assets. They will partner with engineers, flight test operators, and maintenance leadership to ensure the site runs safely and reliably. The role involves day-to-day aircraft maintenance, return-to-service work, inspections, troubleshooting, test setups, hardware changes, and reliability activities in a fast-moving field environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, can operate with limited structure, and wants to help build and improve a growing test operation. As Zipline test operations grow, this role may also support other test, maintenance, or operations activities across the region.
