About The Position

As a Maintenance Engineering Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair production and facility equipment—including conveyors, automated packaging systems, forklifts, and material‑handling equipment. You’ll also support general facility upkeep and use CMMS software to document work. This hands‑on role works closely with Distribution Center leadership to maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑functioning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Production Maintenance Technician, with skills in automation, light electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Comfortable using CMMS software and basic mobile/PC technology.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Expert understanding of building mechanical systems.
  • Developing knowledge of mechanical and electronic equipment calibration.
  • Facility maintenance and commercial HVAC understanding.
  • Troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Preventive maintenance principles.
  • Reading blueprints/diagrams.
  • Safety inspections, policies, and procedures.
  • High school diploma or trades certificate required.
  • OSHA 10 required.
  • Forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with boom/scissor lifts preferred.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on material-handling equipment (conveyors, wrappers, sealers, automated systems, forklifts).
  • Maintain parts inventory and detailed service records.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, replace worn components, and keep machinery properly lubricated.
  • Address equipment‑related safety concerns in partnership with the safety manager.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and support new equipment setup or modifications.
  • Keep shop areas, tools, and maintenance vehicles clean and organized.
  • Work with outside contractors as needed and support other maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Performing routine maintenance and general repairs around the building such as fixing structural damage, windows, doors, wall repair including painting, locks, access control and security cameras, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems and other facility related items.
  • Inspect Equipment and facilities to identify maintenance and repair requirements, hazards, code violations, and priorities.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service calls, diagnoses problems and makes minor repairs and or utilize outside vendors when necessary.
  • Estimate and procure compatible materials and tools required to perform maintenance, repair and construction-related functions.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and OSHA regulations and assist safety team when needed.
