Engineering/Maintenance Technician

Bingham Healthcare is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Basic computer and data-entry skills required
- Ability to lift, carry, move, and operate equipment safely
Nice To Haves
- Two years of maintenance, construction, mechanical, facilities, or related experience preferred
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or general maintenance preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hospital buildings and equipment
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry projects
- Complete work orders and facility inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Help maintain building systems for safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Move and install equipment, furniture, and facility assets as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and infection control standards
- Participate in required safety training and department meetings
- Assist with inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and outside organizations
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and operational requirements
- Promote safe work practices throughout the organization
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns
- Provide technical assistance and recommendations for facility improvements
- Participate in on-call coverage and emergency response situations as needed
- Support special projects and facility upgrades throughout the organization
