Luvata Appleton LLC is a Wisconsin based company with three locations in the Fox River Valley. We manufacture products for the copper alloy wire industry and have many customers including ones in the battery, ammunition, solar panel, and electronic markets, among others. The successful candidate must have experience in the use of general machine shop equipment with proficiency in welding steel and cast iron, familiarity with the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press, as well as all hand tools associated with a machine shop environment.

Requirements

  • Four years prior manufacturing experience required
  • Proficiency in welding steel and cast iron
  • Familiarity with the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press
  • Familiarity with all hand tools associated with a machine shop environment
  • A pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen along with a background check is also required

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman/Journeywoman card is a preferred qualification, but other qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical components needed to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe manufacturing environment.
  • Rebuilding production equipment
  • Inventory of spare parts
  • Blue print reading
  • Other duties as required
