POSITION SUMMARY - Maintenance Millwright

Requirements

  • Millwright certification based on national standards.
  • Proven experience as a Millwright in similar roles is a plus.
  • Ability to efficiently diagnose malfunctioning processes, execute solutions to fix the problems, and implement all measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Knowledge of industrial production machines and the mechanical ability needed to complete repairs.
  • Knowledge of HVAC Systems.
  • Knowledge of machine motor controls.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and techniques.
  • Ability to effectively follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
  • May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC License, Electrical Journeyman license, Boiler operator licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and machinery.
  • Performs building and facility plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and improvements.
  • Review and follow technical and complex machine manuals.
  • Ability to efficiently rebuild pumps, air & hydraulic cylinders, gearboxes, and other machine components.
  • Proficient welder and fabricator
  • Completes Periodic/Predictive maintenance on process machines and equipment.
  • Completes required documentation and updates via CMMS.
  • Operate lift trucks and other aerial lifts as needed.
  • Research replacement parts and use of internal parts storage systems.
