Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking two (2) talented individuals to join our team and will be accepting applications for Maintenance Millwright. One position is a day shift position, and the other position is a Shift Millwright (12-hour rotating shift).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Four (4) years of experience in a related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment.
Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
Good written and oral skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to participate in off-hours support, i.e. call-ins, overtime, etc.

Nice To Haves

Additional certifications or experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and welding.
Related experience in the pulp and paper industry.
Journeyman’s certification (or equivalent experience without certifications).

Responsibilities

Maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and timely manner to ensure plant run ability.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks that include inspections, lubrication, and time-based maintenance.
Assemble and install new machinery and equipment as needed.
Participate in off-hours support, including call-ins and overtime.
