About The Position

Travis Pattern and Foundry, a fourth-generation, family-owned company and privately owned aluminum casting provider, is hiring experienced Maintenance Millwrights for full-time work. The position performs routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and rebuilds of plant operating equipment. Openings are available on swing and grave shifts, with weekend on-call work. Work is 40 hours per week or more, and overtime is available. Welding skills are desirable but not required. The company is a union shop affiliated with USW Local #289 M. Applicants must be at least 18 and able to perform the essential tasks continuously during an eight-hour shift. Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen within 24 hours of job acceptance; pre-employment and random drug screening does not include marijuana. Hourly pay ranges from $20.25 to $37.13, plus applicable shift premium. Pay depends on experience, skills, and certifications. Millwright I pays $37.13 per hour and up, Millwright II pays $29.72–$37.12 per hour, and Millwright III pays up to $29.71 per hour. Effective August 1, 2026, wage scales will receive a pre-negotiated 3.25% cost-of-living increase under the union contract. Swing shift runs Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Grave shift includes Sunday, 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday, and Monday evening through Friday morning, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The job involves exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, regional climate conditions, and chemicals, oils, grease, paints, or other irritants. Work may occur in hot and cold environments and may require overtime and weekend work during busy production periods. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to perform the essential tasks continuously during an eight-hour shift.
Demonstrated experience using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools while following appropriate safety and PPE requirements.
Ability to squat, bend, stoop, kneel, stand, climb, and crawl as required.
Hand dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of experience in an industrial or production environment.
Experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, belt conveyors, and gearboxes.
Welding, fitting, and layout skills.
Basic electrical knowledge and experience with 120–480V, three-phase systems.
Knowledge of power tools.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive team attitude.
Familiarity with WISHA regulations.
Ability to operate heavy equipment as necessary.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanics.
Welding skills are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems and determine corrective actions, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine checks on production equipment, including pneumatic systems, production machines, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, mixers, agitators, cranes, and other rolling stock.
Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks.
Use hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively, following applicable safety and PPE requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
