About The Position

Sylvamo’s Ticonderoga, New York mill, located on the shores of Lake Champlain, produces high-end printing and technical papers using fiber harvested from Adirondack and Vermont forests. The mill employs more than 600 people focused on safety, environment, quality, and production.

This journeyman-level millwright position is responsible for completing scheduled and routine maintenance work, as well as performing other duties independently and as part of a team. The hourly pay rate is $38.12 as of June 1, 2026. Applicants who meet the qualifications may be invited to complete a prescreen assessment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience as a millwright apprentice or helper and journeyman status.
• Mechanical industrial technology degree.
• Certificate from an accredited college or trade school.
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts.
