About The Position

This role is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The Maintenance Mechanic will identify parts needing replacement, use shop mathematics and interpret drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. They will respond to production areas to address mechanical issues, communicate with production personnel to diagnose problems, and perform preventive maintenance. The goal is to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, respecting time and resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematic ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
