About The Position

This position is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The role involves identifying parts or machines needing replacement, utilizing shop mathematics, and interpreting drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic will respond to production area requests for mechanical assistance, communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems, and perform preventive maintenance. Tasks must be completed with accuracy and efficiency regarding time and resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematic ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components

• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time as well as resources
