About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic ensures the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The role involves conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing corrective actions. The mechanic performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and carries out necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency while following safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field.
• High proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.
• High proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques.
• High proficiency in safety standards compliance.
• High proficiency in interpreting technical documentation.
• High proficiency with hydraulic systems.
• High proficiency in electrical systems knowledge.
• High proficiency in time management, problem-solving, mathematical skills, communication, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• 1–3 years of experience maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety Training.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in machinery.
• Implement repairs and modifications to restore equipment functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct performance tests on machinery to ascertain efficiency.
• Perform line equipment setups by following setup sheets.
