About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic at JLL, you will be a vital part of our facilities operations team, responsible for the hands-on maintenance and repair of the critical systems that keep our client sites running at peak performance. Your technical expertise will ensure the reliability of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, directly contributing to a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment. This role is essential to upholding JLL’s commitment to operational excellence and delivering superior service, offering an opportunity to work within a dynamic and skilled team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school certification.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial building maintenance.
  • Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills across a range of building systems.
  • Basic computer skills, MS Office and CMMS.
  • Handyman skills, basic equipment and furniture assembly, plumbing, etc

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Universal EPA certification or other relevant trade licenses.
  • Experience working in a regulated, lab, or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
  • Welding, carpentry, or other specialized trade skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures, including pumps, motors, air handlers, and lighting systems.
  • Respond to, manage, and complete work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conduct routine inspections of building infrastructure and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to ensure clear documentation.
  • Assist with equipment installations and support small-scale facility projects as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
