About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facility equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role includes scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. The position is full-time in Las Vegas, with 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-shift options. The work environment includes food production and exposure to wheat, nuts, coconut, and soy products. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• PLC knowledge.
• HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders to guide repairs and maintenance.
• Replace or repair defective parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Carry out preventive maintenance routines, plumbing, and carpentry as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them to supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow OSHA, FDA, GMP, and plant safety regulations.
