About The Position

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing machinery and equipment. This includes assembling, leveling, and connecting equipment (electrical, air, gas, water), and dismantling and reassembling machines as needed. You will also modify or build new equipment to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, and train operators and supervisors on new or updated equipment. The role requires flexibility across different areas, a constant prioritization of safety, and performing duties in accordance with sound safety practices.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years related experience that successfully demonstrates mechanical and electrical ability.
Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift and carry items weighing up to 50-100 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally.
Ability to constantly stand and walk.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb, and reach at/above shoulder level.
Ability to frequently work in awkward positions and occasionally work from ladders.
Must have basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Skilled in machinery repair, electrical work, and welding.
Proficient with electronics, schematics, and ladder logic.
Experience with lathe, milling machines, and industrial systems.
Strong in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
Able to read blueprints, follow safety procedures, and handle hazardous materials.
