Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the mechanical field.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (electric/manual).
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to fill out routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively and convey information to other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

Working with boilers, air compressors, air handling units and HVAC is a plus.
Food manufacturing background is a plus.
Experience with programmable logic controller, instruments and controls is preferred.
Industrial Electric certification.
PLC Programming certification.
Instrumentation Control Technician certification.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment assigned to you.
Perform machine repairs based upon a maintenance call or an assignment in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot support system problems using basic problem solving skills.
Complete all standard work orders and preventative maintenance tasks assigned and submit all completed paperwork.
Record information in required logbooks for systems history and continuous improvement.
Record any parts/components used for repairs to ensure replenishment of On-Hand balances are maintained.
Ensure quality standards set by the company are adhered to after PM’s and/or repairs are made to equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the areas you are working in; properly dispose of the parts/components you have replaced.
Promote a safe and harmonious work environment with adherence to company policy, procedures, safety and health regulations.
Maintain compliance with S.Q.F. Certification.
Perform and carry out other duties and tasks, as assigned by supervisor.
