About The Position

Our distribution center in Garland, UT keeps classrooms stocked with the tools educators and children need to learn and grow — and you help make that possible. As a Seasonal Maintenance Mechanic, you'll keep our facility and material-handling equipment running safely and reliably, working alongside a hands-on team. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, facilities, or light industrial environment — or an equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
• Comfortable working in varied physical conditions including heat, cold, dust, noise, elevated heights, and extended time on concrete surfaces
• Forklift-certified or willing to obtain certification after hire
• Able to work occasional overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as the season requires

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related trade program
• Familiarity with forklift repair and basic troubleshooting
• Graduates of Bridgerland Tech College strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and related material-handling equipment following established procedures and plans
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues on material-handling components, including photo eyes, relays, solenoids, and motor starters
• Maintain and repair racking, shelving, dock levelers, and overhead doors to keep operations moving safely
• Complete routine facility maintenance tasks and support janitorial needs as they arise
• Monitor forklift battery water levels and ensure timely, correct charging
• Follow all safety and loss-prevention policies and procedures, contributing to a safe work environment for the whole team
