About The Position

Our distribution center in Garland, UT keeps classrooms stocked with the tools educators and children need to learn and grow — and you help make that possible. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll keep our facility and material-handling equipment running safely and reliably, working alongside a hands-on team. Requirements

2+ years of experience in a warehouse, facilities, or light industrial environment — or an equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
Comfortable working in varied physical conditions including heat, cold, dust, noise, elevated heights, and extended time on concrete surfaces
Forklift-certified or willing to obtain certification after hire
Able to work occasional overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as the season requires

Nice To Haves

Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related trade program
Familiarity with forklift repair and basic troubleshooting
Graduates of Bridgerland Tech College strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and related material-handling equipment following established procedures and plans
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues on material-handling components, including photo eyes, relays, solenoids, and motor starters
Maintain and repair racking, shelving, dock levelers, and overhead doors to keep operations moving safely
Complete routine facility maintenance tasks and support janitorial needs as they arise
Monitor forklift battery water levels and ensure timely, correct charging
Follow all safety and loss-prevention policies and procedures, contributing to a safe work environment for the whole team
