As a(n) Maintenance Mechanic I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Inspect and test machinery and equipment in order to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with machine operator or supervisors to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Record spare parts used to maintain inventory of common replacement parts. Performing millwright tasks such as moving equipment, material and machinery using standard methods of lifting, rigging, hoisting, blocking, skidding, and rolling. Also, operate plasma, cutting torch, or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts as well as uses mill, lathe and other shop equipment to fabricate and repair basic machine parts and plasma. Diagnose and repair basic electrical apparatus, such as electrical components of machinery and equipment. Repairing and maintaining physical structure of establishment, including snow removal, HVAC and compressed air systems. Also, maintaining preventative maintenance program by cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery central to optimal machine performance. In addition, documenting preventative maintenance activities.
