Lozier Corporation is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain the performance and operating condition of manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making to support machine uptime and manufacturing throughput. The mechanic performs general machine and building maintenance, follows the Preventative Maintenance Schedule and requirements of the Preventative Maintenance sheet, and may perform simpler tool, die, and fixture work when asked. The position requires electromechanical repairs, welding, hydraulic troubleshooting, and the ability to use tools for electrical, plumbing, and heating work. The mechanic is expected to work with little supervision and be physically capable of handling parts, materials, equipment, and test equipment as needed. The position also requires satisfactory completion of all steps of the Maintenance Apprentice Program, including written and practical exams, and any training determined necessary by the Company and Joint Training Committee to keep up with new technology. For further training, the employee may be transferred to another shift regardless of seniority for periods lasting no longer than 60 days per occurrence. Progression through program steps must stay within prescribed time limits; otherwise, the employee may be removed from the Maintenance department and returned to an available position within their highest qualified classification.
