About The Position

Milkco is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic to provide on-site maintenance and repair for all aspects of the plant. This includes performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems, including packaging equipment, conveyors, and production machinery. The role also involves ordering and installing new and replacement components, requiring some electrical experience. Effective communication with management and proactive suggestions for continuous improvement are expected, along with other general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in general maintenance and repair, some electrical experience, and a can-do attitude. Machine-specific training will be provided.

Requirements

Must have some electrical experience.
Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere.
Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco).
Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
Must be able to stand a minimum of 7 ½ hours per day.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
Extended periods of overhead lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing and other related movements may be required.

Nice To Haves

Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
