About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic at JLL, you will be a critical technical expert responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical assets, systems, and equipment across large-scale manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Facility and Operations Managers, you'll provide the specialized skill sets required to preserve building systems, manufacturing process equipment, and mechanical infrastructure that keeps operations running efficiently. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your hands-on technical capabilities with HVAC systems, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and building automation systems directly impact production continuity and equipment reliability. Requirements

  • Journeyman certification required in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas
  • Facility maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics
  • Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC/R systems including heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and temperature control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approach
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work on ladders, operate hand and power tools, and work in various environmental conditions
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and pre/post scheduled hours as needed
  • Available for call-in work 24 hours per day and able to work in all weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturing process equipment including thermal units, pressure control systems, and dew point control
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems such as MAXIMO or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
  • Experience with building automation systems and building monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of power systems including normal power, emergency power systems, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems
  • Familiarity with safety PM completion, safety repair completion, and employee safety training compliance requirements
  • Experience participating in employee safety concern processes and utilizing pre-task planning methods
  • Understanding of backflow preventers, natural gas and water meter calibration, and building utility/piping systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment including cold/hot thermal units with temperature control, pressure control, and dew point control systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance (scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns) and predictive maintenance (using equipment or tests to predict when maintenance will be needed) on building systems and mechanical equipment
  • Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems including heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, temperature control, and scavenge exhaust systems
  • Service and troubleshoot pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics, backflow preventers, and natural gas/water meters including calibration
  • Manage building automation systems, building monitoring systems, and building utility/piping systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide and maintain spare and replacement parts inventories to support efficient maintenance operations
  • Complete help desk immediate work orders within 24 hours, PM completion requirements, and environmental PM completion and reporting in accordance with client scorecard metrics
