About The Position

Milkco is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic. This position provides on-site maintenance and repair for all aspects of the plant, including packaging equipment, conveyors, and production machinery. The role involves performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems, ordering and installing new and replacement components, and performing general maintenance tasks. The company provides machine-specific training due to the specialized nature of the equipment. This is a full-time position with steady, stable work.

Requirements

Must have some electrical experience.
Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

Background in general maintenance and repair.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems, including packaging equipment, conveyors & production machinery.
Ordering & installing new & replacement components as needed.
Effective communication with management, including proactive suggestions for continuous improvement.
Other general maintenance tasks as directed.
