About The Position
PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable production. This role involves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with opportunities for long-term career growth.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Required to work on weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 15 to 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without accommodation
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
Nice To Haves
- Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
- Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
- Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
- Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
- Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
- Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
