About The Position

This position provides semi-skilled work performing a variety of building maintenance repairs, including the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems. The position is based at Building Maintenance, 2222 N. Alamo St., San Antonio, Texas, and is associated with Palo Alto College. It is a 40-hour-per-week, hourly position with one opening and is benefits eligible.

Requirements

• High school graduation or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
• Four years of work experience in general building maintenance.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver license.
• Be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
• Possess and keep current a valid State of Texas Maintenance Electrician License or City of San Antonio Technician License.
• Complete a motor vehicle report, background check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of completion in building maintenance or related skilled trades.
• More than four years of experience.
